How to prevent Bad breath part 23

Ingredients responsible for bad breath

Among the odors, there are odors that humans feel uncomfortable, and there is an odor that goes nowhere.
Even if it has a strong odor, it is not called an offensive odor if it does not feel particularly unpleasant.
In other words, even if the odor is the same, there are odors that are perceived as bad breath and odors that are not.
So what kind of odor is the unpleasant smell?
Let’s carry out the verification.

There are hundreds of bacteria in the human mouth.
Plaque is also a type of bacteria called “dental plaque”.
Many of these bacteria are the cause of offensive odors, and human beings have an element of releasing some degree of bad breath while being born.

Among them, the components that cause bad breath, in particular, are “VSC”, “hydrogen sulfide”, “methyl mercaptan”, “dimethyl sulfide”, “ammonia”, “acetone” and so on.
“VSC” is a volatile sulfur compound, and it is the most popular component as the cause of bad breath.
It is a particularly difficult component to remove because of its volatile nature and its ability to dissolve in saliva and tongue.

“Hydrogen sulfide” is a component that causes halitosis caused by meals.
It is a component that is produced by the reaction of proteins with anaerobic bacteria.
The sulfur reducing substance gives the rotten smell of sulfur specific eggs.

“Ammonia” is generally recognized as a component contained in urine, but in fact, plaque and tartar also contain a considerable amount, which causes odor in the mouth.
